Digicel launches Paramount channel on Sky Pacific

The Paramount Channel has been introduced on the Sky Pacific pay TV service by parent company Digicel. Chief Executive Darren McLean says the new content is in response to what customers want. “The feedback has being very consistent, it’s around entertainment, it’s around movies, it’s around more sports and more sports to appeal to Pacific people, Fijians specifically given that this is the home of Sky Pacific, but also there’s a big demand for how we broadcast, techniques with regards to music and Bollywood content.” McLean says that two months since taking over Sky Pacific, the biggest challenge has been attending to the maintenance and servicing of its dishes. More channels are expected on the Pay TV platform in due time.
