CM Hopes To Establish First-ever Technical Training University in Sindh : Pakistan

In addition to a training platform, the chief minister also disclosed the plan to establish the first-ever technical training university in Sindh. Previously, the BBSYDP chairman said the program was introduced back in 2008-9 and had been designed to reduce poverty and unemployment by providing skilled training to youths, which in turn would boost the economy of the province. Under the program, training is being delivered to achieve the following skills:

  • ECG technician
  • Anaesthesia
  • X-ray technician
  • OT technician
  • Lab technician
  • Beautician
  • Stitching
  • Computer courses

According to the latest statistics, 292,000 youths have been trained in various trades successfully under existing programs, with new programs expected to attract more youth. The training program is also expected to deliver these courses in various languages as well.
