APT reports progress on Apstar

Satellite administrator APT Satellite has reported that its Apstar-5C and Apstar-6C satellite projects are continuing as per arrangement. Until June, the Apstar-5C program has finished the Payload EQSR, System PDR and Antenna PDR effectively. The Apstar-6C payload CDR was directed effectively on 14 June. The advancement and timetable of both satellites are in accordance with the predication, the organization included.

Apstar-5C depends on the SSL FS-1300 stage which will be furnished with C-band, Ku-band provincial shafts and a Ku-band HTS payload, giving high power transponder administrations to clients over the Asia-Pacific locale for VSAT, video conveyance, DTH, versatility broadband applications. Apstar-5C will supplant in-circle the Apstar-5 satellite in 2018.

Apstar-6C depends on CASC DFH-4 stage which will be furnished with C-band, Ku-band, and Ka-band transponders, giving high power transponder administrations to clients over the Asia-Pacific district for VSAT, video appropriation, DTH, cell backhaul and versatility broadband applications.
